What the Capability Roadmap delivers

The Capability Roadmap Workshop Series is designed to understand the ServiceNow capabilities you need to underpin your business drivers, service portfolio and IT operating model aspirations.

We work with you to understand:

• The current state of your IT capability and gaps to be addressed

• Your team’s skills and culture

• Any service delivery models in place or planned (e.g. move to cloud development platforms and SaaS)

From there we will propose frameworks and approaches successful for clients in similar circumstances.  Core to this, is our IT4IT-based operating model framework (see below) that helps organise ServiceNow functionality into value streams and supporting capabilities. We can “heat map” your current capabilities onto this model and use this in the priorities workshops and ServiceNow Roadmap deliverable.


We consult with you to understand priorities and budgets, so we can structure ServiceNow capabilities into a series of releases. These releases combine capability uplift and continuous improvement (based on Toyota’s Kaizen model). The result is IT agility and your team can grow and adapt using ServiceNow as the enabling platform.
